Peter Zumthor

The architect of the first minimalist house was Peter Zumthor. In 1968, this minimalist home architect joined the “Department for the Conservation of Monuments of the Canton of Graubünden” and carried out many historical architectural restorations.

His famous works include 1983 House Räth (Switzerland), Kunsthaus Bregenz (Austria), and Villa in Küsnacht (Switzerland)

John Pawson

John Pawson is a British minimalist home architect . This minimalist home architect focuses on the approach to space problems in design, proportion, lighting, and material.

Tadao Ando

Tadao Ando initially studied architecture independently. This architect of a minimalist home from Japan follows drawing classes at night. Follows interior courses to visit works of world architects such as Le Corbusier, Frank Lloyd Wright, to Louis Kahn.

Now this minimalist home architect has had a design studio in Osaka.  Managed to spawn a masterpiece that was admired until it won the Pritzker Prize in 1995.
